    Our Story

    Walter Berryhill began selling his signature, homemade tamales form a cart in Houston throughout the 1920's to the mid 1960's. After his retirement, the legacy of the restaurant continued on, with Jeff Anon purchasing Berryhill Baja Grill in 1996. Anon has since grown the business from one store in Houston, to a multi-store franchisor of fresh, Baja Mexican–styled cuisine. Because of the #1 commitment to good food, as well as fair pricing and a pleasant, laid-back environment, Berryhill customers remain loyal.
